After the departure of Neil Taylor in 2007 Mark Hockings and Richard Silverthorn found themselves in a position of not knowing whether to continue or call time on Mesh. After much thought a new new found energy inspired them to write what would become "A Perfect Solution". The album showcases a remarkable evolution from Mesh's retro synth roots. In 2009, the duo delivers their most mature and versatile album to date. Exceptional vocals blend seamlessly with evolved songwriting and arrangements. Despite the darker thematic undertones, the album strikes a delicate balance between bitterness and sweetness, making it an emotionally engaging and musically satisfying experience. This would become the first album that employed the skills of Olaf Wollschläger taking control of the mixing and production.
