Mesh made a significant step from an independent label to Sony Columbia, marking a pivotal moment in their career. This album probably was the most expensive album to date. Mesh found themselves in a position to give up the day jobs and become full-time musicians. While maintaining their tradition of writing and recording all tracks in their Bristol studio, this time, they enlisted the expertise of Mixer/Producer Peter Schmidt (Black Pete) for the first time to elevate the songs' quality. His previous work in Hansa Studios Berlin with bands like U2 and Depeche Mode added a new polished and warm sound. Three weeks of intense mixing sessions at Home Studios Hamburg, followed by mastering at Galaxy Studios Belgium, culminated in the album's release. Tracks like "Leave You Nothing" and "Little Missile" set the tone, defining the album's direction and sound.
