Following the resounding success of Automation Baby, the bar was set high for Mesh. “Looking Skyward” emerged as their most mature album yet, the depth of songwriting was deeper than before. To capture the essence of this recording, the band ventured into a soon-to-be-demolished factory for a poignant photoshoot, utilizing the derelict backdrop to convey the emotional depth of this recording. The album's first single, "Kill Your Darlings," was an assault on the ears, sampled guitars and soaring synths signaling Mesh's bold step forward. Debuting at number 12 on the German Official Charts and dominating alternative music charts across Europe, Looking Skyward proved to be a groundbreaking release and statement for the Duo.
