Mesh's first official release on their own label, Tolerance Records, seemed almost like a rebellious statement towards major labels that had shown interest but never actually offered a deal. A very raw and unpolished collection of songs full of angst and emotion capturing a sense of rawness and authenticity. Initially introduced as an EP (1994), it later evolved into a full album with additional tracks, solidifying its impact and significance (1997). Artwork on the original album was done by a Bristol University student using a “pinhole” camera. Only a mere 500 copies were released under the Tolerance label and quickly became a rare sought after collectors item in this guise.
